Welcome to HumanVariation.Com

The main goals of anthropology are to observe, record, and interpret human variation. Since the subject matter is complex, consisting of a biological and cultural entity, anthropology is subdivided into four traditional fields. These four subspecialties are Linguistics, Archaeology, Cultural Anthropology and Physical/Biological Anthropology.
This website is designed for use by anthropology students and the general public to learn more about this fascinating field. Students are encouraged to use the information on this site to supplement lecture material. However, this site is not designed to supplant regular class attendance and students will need to attend class to obtain relevant dates.
